 Our Agreement​ - Payment Terms


We are straightforward and give all our prospective clients the information they require to make an informed decision, and so we have included an extract from our terms and conditions about payment for our services.
 
Our quotation will be valid for 14 days and is subject to a price review if your order is placed
after this time. Raw material and hardware elements to your quotation may be subject to a price review if there is a substantial time gap between order and start of manufacture
but we will keep you updated if changes occur.
Our quotation is for your personal concept design that has been approved and agreed by you and outlines your part payment plan.
If you commission us to make your furniture, we will send you your order form and payment schedule as follows:

Fitted Furniture Commissions
Three Part Payment


20% First part payment
This payment is to secure your workshop production time slot.
We have a 7 day 'cooling off' period before start of manufacture.
If you have a change of mind during this time you can cancel your order in writing and we will refund your first part payment in full. 
Due to the bespoke nature of our business we do not give any refunds if you decide to cancel your order after the 7 day 'cooling off' period.
​Design fees are not refundable if you cancel your order.
 
75% Second part payment
This payment is requested at the start of manufacture and is not refundable
​ once manufacture has commenced.
 
5% ​Final Completion Payment
Upon completion of your Furniture installation we will invoice the final 5%.

Free Standing Furniture
with a total invoice value over £1,200.00
​Three Part Payment
​
20% First Part Payment Booking Deposit

This payment is to secure your workshop production time slot.
'​Cooling off' period applies.


​75% Second Part Payment
This payment is requested at the start of manufacture and is not refundable
​once manufacture has commenced.

5% Final Completion Payment
Upon Delivery

 Free Standing Furniture

 with a total invoice value of £1,200.00 or under

20% Booking Deposit

This payment is to secure your workshop production time slot.
'​Cooling off' period applies.

80% Start of Manufacture
​
This payment is requested at the start of manufacture and is not refundable
​once manufacture has commenced.

​If, during the production process you request any additions to the design we will
agree the additional cost and invoice this to you on an extras invoice which
will be payable upon completion.

 
During the production we will keep you informed of the progress via
our ‘Workshop Weekly’ blog and, of course you are most welcome to visit our
​ workshop whilst your furniture is being made.

Satisfaction & Confidence

Many of our commissions come via referral from clients who have already experienced our approachable style & quality product. We have handwritten testimonials that you are welcome to read when you visit our workshop. As an approved member of the Guild of Master Craftsmen you have the added assurance that we have been vetted and approved by the Guild whose objective is to support and recognise the skill and integrity of legitimate craftsmen.
 
You will not be asked to pay your final completion payment until you are completely satisfied that we have honoured our agreement with you.
 
For your peace of mind, your new furniture is endorsed by our 3 year craftsmanship  warranty in the unlikely event that you have a problem after your final payment has been made.
 
We only fit high quality components into our cabinetry. All the Blum products (drawer runners & hinges) that we use in the construction of your furniture has a 20 year warranty when used for purpose and in a domestic circumstance.
