This is a new service that we have provided since May for our Client's with furniture in production.  We call it our 'viewing window'. Whilst our client's are more than welcome to come down to the workshop sometimes is easier to just click on the website to see their furniture in progress.

 Hand Painted Alcove Wardrobe in Tarporley, Cheshire.

Our client's request was for a design and storage solution that would blend into the walls and match her decor. Throughout the cottage is a beautiful combination of hardwood flooring that our Client's have lovingly restored.  We stained & polished a piece of Sapele for the drawer top to link the painted furniture and natural wood flooring.

The Process

3D design incorporating the long hanging. Our Client had her eye on a fabulous new long coat! All we needed was the length so we could make the wardrobe to fit the coat!

Cabinets lacquered and put together in the workshop

Drawers offered up and Sapele Drawer Top in place.

Hanging Rails and Small Door fitted. End panel now fitted to drawers

Hand Painted Shaker Drawer Fronts are fixed on the the drawer boxes.

We stained the top with a mixture of Morrells Antique & Brown Mahogany followed by two coats of lacquer and several layers of natural wax.

One more Door and we are ready to fit.

Complete without handles

Handles now chosen and being finished at the workshop.

Design Chosen. Painted in F & B Pale Powder or lacquered Oak. This is the first coat of three, still some living wood showing through. What would you have chosen?
