Shooting Gun Cabinet

The Process .......
​We are starting with the Boot Room, Wellington Island and the Storage Cabinet for your shooting attire. Second Stage will be the Office Dresser and then the all important Office and Sliding Boardroom Table. 

Design & cutting list for large Cabinet.

Oak uprights & rails all cut and being put through the drum sander.

Have a look at the door process above. It took quite a few clamps to make this Cabinet Door!

Waiting final hand sand and buff before heading off to the paint shop.

Wellington Island end panel fitted into the solid Beech Frame.

After nine days of undercoating and top coatings the furniture is ready to go together. Wellington Island.

Solid Oak Skirts, Oak top with solid oak plugged lipping finished in F&B Pavilion

All the solid lipping is secured with traditional oak plugs. Using the drill press to make the plugs. Five made another 86 to go!

Filing drawers in Solid Oak and dovetailed on soft close ball bearing runners.

All Doors now fitted into cabinetry for the bookcase dresser. Awaiting Filing drawers and central oak bookcase .

First fitting day and the base cabs go in for the Bookcase Dresser.

After levelling the oak top and three top cabs are located and fitted. Next job Oak cornice.

First day of the fit for the Office

The desk base is centralised. Here you can see the apertures in the desk base that will allow the whole desk to extend.

The desk Top is fitted onto the base.

and the return cabinets are attached to each other.

Front pedestal has changed from the drawing and is now a small two shelved cabinet.
